Human Grade vs. Pet Grade?

Human Grade vs. Pet Grade?

Human Grade - what does that mean?
Unlike most raw pet food that source from several different suppliers, we at FoeGuard have been part of the meat industry for 30 plus years supplying farm fresh meat to the restaurant industry, retail butcher shops and meat stores. All meat used in our pet recipes is Human Grade which means it is the same meat that we sell to other industries for human consumption. The same food that goes on our table is the same food we put in our raw pet food, the only reason our pet recipes are not for human consumption is due the fact that they have ground bones in them. All of the recipes contain our meats, while our vegetables and fruits are locally grown and sourced. Our meat is naturally raised on pastures that are fertilized naturally and raised without the use of any antibiotics and hormones in their feed as nature intended.

Human Grade Vs Pet Grade?
Human grade is processed under strict rules, in a Provincially licensed facilities under the supervision of a Government appointed inspector.
Pet grade in simple terms, is meat that is not fit-for human consumption, it can contain all of these by-products of an animal such as sick animals, unwhole parts like carcasses, hides, hooves, tails, heads, & ears.
Human grade raw can be expensive, however since we raise our own livestock we have the ability to sell at wholesale prices without in-store markups allowing our customers to have better savings while getting the best quality for their FoeGuardians!
